The best compliment I can receive is that not only do my clients love their portraits, but that they thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being photographed. I enjoy both taking photographs, as well as teaching others how to take their own professional-quality images. One of my favorite topics is sharing tips for creating treasured photo books to give as gifts and/or to keep.

In my opinion there is no better place to take portraits than outdoors. Kauai offers so many scenic places to take portraits - beaches, waterfalls, tropical settings, etc. I am also happy to share suggestions for portrait locations, as well as tips for ideal clothing for your session. Whether I take them or teach you how to, I know we will have lots of fun in the great outdoors.

My name is Michelle Miller and I have been an award-winning portrait and event photographer for more than 30 years. I had my own studio in Northern California from 1990 - 2015 and loved photographing children, families and special events, especially outdoors. I helped strengthen our family business from 2015-2020 and managed the sale of that business to fulfill our dream of moving to Kauai in early 2020 and launching Reflections Kauai Photography!
